About Me

Hi!  I am Chef Kalee, owner of Chef Reid Services.  One of my greatest joys in life is preparing meals for my family and friends.  There is just something special about gathering around the table and sharing delicious food.  Growing up, it was a priority to sit down for dinner at my house. I fell in love with cooking in high school, but chose to pursue Mechanical Engineering first.  After graduating with my Bachelors Degree, I had saved enough to send myself to Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute.  I was able to study the classic French Technique that is world-renowned.  This experience changed my life and confirmed my true passion – food.

Once back home, I earned my Masters in Science of Teaching and began teaching adult culinary classes.  These covered the seven classic cooking methods (braising, roasting, grilling, poaching, frying, sautéing, and pan-roasting), fresh pasta making, and some pastry. 

Our family needed to relocate due to my husband’s (Mr. Man) engineering career.  We finally settled in Brookline, NH after the birth of our daughter (Munchkin).  Now I am ready to continue following my culinary dreams as a personal chef.

This blog follows that journey. I will share tips and recipes I discover along the way that you will love. Also I will share anything food related - interesting facts, good places to eat, etc.
